Factors Influencing Adherence to Anti-Diabetes Medication Among Diabetes In Accra

Diabetes has become one of the essential diseases for discussion in recent times across globe. The purpose this study was to determine factors influencing adherence anti-diabetic medication among diabetics attending Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge). A cross-sectional design used. Purposive sampling technique used select 214 persons study. Data collected using a semi-structured questionnaire. results revealed that behavioural and lifestyle such as, diet, drink, physical activities level their management recommendations reported values should be looked at; only 19.0% participants adhered anti-diabetics while, majority 81% did not adhere medication; religious affiliation an education respondents on diabetes mellitus were two significantly associated with diabetic (P < 0.05).
